Australia's Internationals - Downunder Spirit Championships

Australia's Internationals the Downunder Spirit Championships rocked Australia's hottest holiday destinations number one venue, The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre over the weekend of the 30th June and 1st July 2007. Competitors from USA, New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia performed in front of thousands of Cheerleading fans in what is Australia's best Pom, Cheer, Dance and Sport Aerobic Event.

Event Director Sharon Winter says "The Downunder Spirit Championships is Australia's number one International Cheerleading and Sports Aerobic event and Cheerleading in Australia has just exploded and teams can be found in every corner of the country. This event is Australia's premier competition as it gives the teams the chance to compete not just against the best from Australia, but also teams from all around the world".

Fans and competitors also had the opportunity to visit the "Spirit Mall", which showcased some of the leaders in cheer apparel. Crazy Fans, Crowd Giveaways, and superb cheer routines ensured the fans left the Downunder Spirit Championships with the spirit, the Downunder Spirit!

This years "Downuder Spirits" gave bids to Teams that placed 1st through 4th in there respective cheer divisions to compete at one of America's largest competitions, Cheer Ltd Internationals at the Beach "CANAM" which is held at one of America's favorite holiday spots, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
