CHEER LTD. SUMMER STAFF ‘READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL’

(Fayetteville, NC) – The Cheer Ltd. Summer Staff treated fans of the Fayetteville Guard, a local NIFL (National Indoor Football League) team, to a performance during the Guard’s 58 – 40 victory over the Greensboro Revolution. The Cheer Ltd. staff, consisting of collegiate level cheerleaders from 14 different states, celebrated the end to an intense week of staff training with their 2-minute performance at the game. The performance also provided an opportunity for the staff to support one of the Guard’s star defensive linemen, Cheer Ltd.’s own Jamaal Legette.

Legette, Programs Director for Cheer Ltd., Inc., spends his days at the corporate cheer headquarters, and his evenings practicing with the Fayetteville Guard NIFL team. Weekends are split between the demanding game schedule and his corporate responsibilities. Balancing the busy schedule of coordinating competitions and judges certification locations didn’t stop Legette from helping his team secure the Atlantic East Championship title, as well as the Atlantic Conference title on their way to Fayetteville’s first Indoor Bowl appearance.

A former 3-year starter for Methodist College football team, Legette is already looking forward to the 2007 season with the Guard. “It was nice to finally play football again. We lost the championship game, but hopefully we’ll win it next year!”
