Those who have attended CheerCon in the past years, registration options are a little different now to accommodate more coaches and cheerleaders who wish to customize their conference weekend. Every coach and cheerleader wishing to attend conference classes will start with register for the BASIC Registration and then add on and customize

On Campus Housing is very limited this year due to the increased University summer class attendance and campus activities. All delegates are encouraged to take advantage of the housing block available at our partner hotels. OFF CAMPUS HOTEL BLOCK AT MARRIOTT PROPERTIES

A room block has been secured at the Residence Inn by Marriott and TownePlace by Marriott about 8 miles from Methodist University. This is one of the closest hotel properties to the University. All rooms will be released on May 1, 2010 so reserve yours NOW! Studio suites ($ 99 - $ 109), 1 bedroom suites ($ 119), and 2 bedroom suites ($ 139 - $ 159) are available (limited space so book early).

• All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Hotels will not hold any reservations unless secured by one of these methods. Individual reservations may be cancelled up to 4:00pm on the date of arrival to avoid no-show charges. The no-show fee is equal to one night's room and tax charge.
• Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 12:00PM. For added convenience baggage storage can be arranged at any time for guests.

TRANSPORTATION

• Shuttle service is free from Fayetteville Regional Airport, the Fayetteville bus or train station. This service may be limited to certain days; more information will be available in the conference info pack sent to each delegate.
• Transportation from Raleigh Durham International Airport (approx. 1 ½ hours from Fayetteville) is not available through CheerCon shuttle service. Rent a car or call (800) 840-2RDU for shuttle and fee information.

FAQ

When do I need to arrive? Friday, May 21, 2010. Registration is 8am - 4:30pm.

When do I depart? Anytime after noon on Sunday, May 23, 2010. Note: This is a change for 2010. There will be courses offered Sunday morning!

Who can attend? Anyone wanting to further their cheer knowledge and meet others with the same interests...cheerleaders and coaches of all team types and skill levels encouraged to attend!

What is the attire for the conference? Practice attire, for the majority of conference - be comfortable! you may want to bring nicer clothes (Sunday dress) for the awards dinner and presentation and some party clothes for the after-hours "events."

Must I stay off campus? Everyone is encouraged to stay off campus, but it is not mandatory. Please contact the Residence Inn directly by calling 910-868-9005; room block available through April 15, 2010 to book rooms.

If I stay on campus, how much is it? Please call Lisa for more information on this option at 1.800.477.8868.

Can my spouse attend? Or if attending as a cheerleader...Can my parents attend? Yes! There are conference packages offered for them as well. There are several options for registration this year so each person's weekend can be customized.

What is the weather like in NC? In May, it is usually in the 80's often with afternoon/evening storms. The dorms and classrooms are air conditioned and may get a bit chilly, but overall comfortable!
