CONFERENCE FOCUS and STYLE...SCHOOL/REC

The 2012 conference instruction will be tailored towards scholastic, recreation, and collegiate coaching. The majority of the Mentors come from a scholastic coaching background. A limited number of all star coach applications will be accepted based on All Star Mentor availability. The USASF does a great job providing top level learning opportunities and networking at the regional meetings held each summer.

'Mentoring' by definition refers to a process that involves communication and is relationship based for the informal transmition of knowledge, usually face-to-face and during a sustained period of time.. This knowledge is transmitted from a person, the mentor, to another person, the mentee or protege.

Cheer Ltd is excited to bring this ancient and proven teaching method to our conference and expects to see its results develop into a standard for cheer coaches in the spirit industry.

The mentoring won't stop at EDGE-U-Cation...your mentor group will be established in June and will continue for one year. How amazing is that?! Your mentor will be checking in with you periodicaly throughout your cheer year and be there as a resource to you! You pay for one weekend...and get so much more!

FREE EDGE-U-Cation Camp can be earned by:
1. Attending Coach EDGE-U-Cation as a commuter and registering for Cheerleader EDGE-U-Cation (camp) as a commuter no later than 5/4/12!
OR
2. Attending Coach EDGE-U-Cation as a campus coach, bringing THREE CAMPUS CHEERLEADERS to Cheerleader EDGE-U-Cation (camp) and registering no later than 5/4/12!
