Cheer Ltd is now recognizing outstanding teams each month on our website. Formerly, the National Team of the Year and National All Star Program of the Year have been recognized at the National Cheer Conference in May. Each year, Cheer Ltd receives numerous nominations for scholastic and all star teams worthy of the title...Each year, it becomes more challenging to narrow the nominees down to just one "winner" for each of the awards. So, we've changed things up a bit!

TEAM OF THE MONTH

The Maynardville Elementary Wildcats are Cheer Ltd's DECEMBER TEAM OF THE MONTH!
From Maynardville, TN, this Wildcat team proudly wears red and black.

"Don't come off the mat with any regrets...do your best at all times, and we can't ask for anything more!" Getting the first place trophy is not what is the most important aspect of being a part of this team although according to all, they work harder than most young cheerleaders as they strive for the "win"!

"As a small town with great big goals and ambitions, we have far surpassed the expectations of (everyone)," says coach Roxanne. Never recognized as a sport, this small country town has watched these dedicated elementary-aged girls excel and win, putting Maynardville "on the map" in the cheerleading world. The team's choreographer echos the expressions of gratitude and overwhelming joy of Melinda Goins (High School Coach) towards Roxanne for her efforts and success. The High School team feels privileged to practice with the Wildcats as they motivate and inspire them to give more and do more. 100% positive attitudes and never saying "can't" have gotten this team all the way to the top! Congratulations Wildcats...and Maynardville, TN for supporting such talent!
