STUNT GROUP COMPETITION

Key Points to Know

  • Compete at the Stunt Group Championships at Cheer Ltd Nationals, Myrtle Beach, SC for $ 258 per group. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO
  • The National Stunt Group Championships in Myrtle Beach will take place on Friday, March 15, 2013. Each stunt group will perform one time only. Awards will be held immediately following the last performance on Friday.
  • No qualification needed to compete at any of the above events.
  • Individual medallions awarded to each competitor in the top 3 stunt groups from each division.
  • Routines must not exceed 1:30 minutes and must be all-music.
  • Stunt routines that incorporate choreographed motions (other than the flyer during a stunt), tumbling (unless part of the stunt/transition), dance or jumps will not be penalized (like years past), but will not receive any skill or creativity credit as it does take away from the consistent stunting that is required during a stunt group routine..
  • All star cheerleader routines must follow the USASF level specified in the grid below.
  • Scholastic and recreation routines must follow the NFHS Spirit Safety rules.

IMPORTANT: Stunt group divisions are separated for scholastic/recreation and all stars. (Please refer the team divisions for more specific information defining scholastic, recreation and all stars.) Stunt group routines must not exceed 1:30 and use all-music. All star routines must follow USASF rules (see specific level guidelines below) and scholastic/recreation must follow NFHS safety rules. NOTE: Cheer Ltd reserves the right to sub-divide, combine, delete or add divisions based on registration.
