INDIVIDUAL CHEERLEADER COMPETITION

Key Points to Know

• Compete at the Cheerleader Championships at Cheer Ltd Nationals, Myrtle Beach, SC - March 16, 2012 for $ 125 per competitor. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO
• The Cheerleader Championships in Myrtle Beach may consist of a preliminary round and finals for divisions that have large participation (to be determined after all registrations are received).
• No qualification needed to compete at any of the above events.
• Individual medallions awarded to the top 3 in each division.
• Routines must not exceed 1:30 minutes and can be choreographed to all-music. Cheer Ltd does not dictate the amount of music however, voice will most likely be an area considered when scoring the "Crowdleading" category for (see Individual Cheerleader Score Sheet for more information).
• All star cheerleader routines must follow the USASF level specified in the grid below.
• Scholastic and recreation cheerleader routines must follow the NFHS Spirit Safety rules.

2011-12 Individual Cheerleader Divisions

Individual divisions are separated for scholastic/recreation cheerleaders and all star cheerleaders. (Please refer the team divisions for more specific information defining scholastic, recreation and all stars.) All individual cheerleader routines may not exceed 1:30 minutes. Amount of music is not dictated by Cheer Ltd however, voice will most likely be an area considered when scoring the "Crowdleading" category for individuals (see International Cheerleader Score Sheet for more information).

NOTE: Cheer Ltd reserves the right to sub-divide, combine, delete or add divisions based on registration.
