Just how profitable can hosting a Cheer Ltd., Inc. Regional event be for your organization? Take a look at some of the data below compiled from our most recent season!
The Total Picture…
During the competition season, our hosts averaged $ 1,671 per event from the admissions gate alone! This does not include any additional profits they made from the exclusive sale of concessions! The average competition brought in 21.5 teams to each location. Not bad for a little more than a day’s work! Cheer Ltd., Inc. Regional Championships can be a great fundraiser for your squad. Just remember, the more you invest into a successful event, the more you will reap the benefits!
Hats Off…
Our hosts in Berea, KY, and Ft. Wayne, IN hold the honors for having the events with the highest gate receipts. Hosts in these cities made between $ 3,000 - $ 6,000.

Coaches ask us, “Can You Tell Me . . . Exactly why I would I agree to partner with you to host a regional competition? What’s in it for my cheerleaders and for me?”
That’s a fair question and we have a great answer—MONEY! The bottom line is that hosting a Cheer Ltd Regional allows your team to raise between $ 1500-$ 6000 (even more for our top competitions who choose to have concessions too!) in one day. How many car washes, bake sales and candy bars does it take to make that much—and how long does it take?
Completely separate from the revenue for the team we just talked about, Cheer Ltd also pays an honorarium* directly to you, the coach, based on the size of your Cheer Ltd event. This new incentive plan now allows us to compensate you for your personal time and effort in partnering with Cheer Ltd. (only paid to events that are held).
“OK, That sounds great – but why do you need me? Couldn’t Cheer Ltd. just rent a place in our area and hold a competition?”
Sure, Cheer Ltd. can go into a location, rent a collegiate facility and host our own regional—in fact, we do this in some select markets. However, we really prefer to partner with key cheerleading teams throughout the country to host our regionals because you provide a vital connection to the community that we need.
“Let’s go back to that big money thing . . .
How can we make sure we have a big regional that will make us
the most money? What do the largest regionals all have in common?”
- They are a major event in their region—every cheerleading and dance team in the region has this competition date on their schedule 6-9 months ahead.
- They are held in the same location on about the same weekend every year—that establishes a tradition that coaches can count on.
- They maximize every opportunity to have teams on the floor which brings people through the gate, to include getting every possible team to compete . . . and having non-competitive teams perform in exhibition.
- Cheer Ltd helps all along the way too - as a host, you will be partnered with a Cheer Ltd administrator who will take you through the success steps and keep you posted on your event registration, interest, etc!

* Honorarium is paid based on the number of paid teams the day of the event. Host teams competing with a waived registration fee or "super early bird" teams do not count in the total number of paid teams.
