Judging & Qualifying
Coaches will have the opportunity to meet with the nationally certified judges during a 30 minute post-competition debriefing immediately following the competition to view and discuss his/her score sheets. This provides the option for even more education and explanation of your routine and scoring.
Performances earning 75% of the total points possible (225 out of 300), OR placing first in a division, will earn bids to advance to the 2009 Cheer Ltd Nationals at CANAM, in Myrtle Beach, SC, March 20-22, 2009.
Spectators
Doors open one hour before the posted event start time. At that time, spectators, competitors and coaches can enter/check in.
Admission for Spectators
Adults - $ 8.00
Students - $ 5.00
Children 5 years and under - FREE
Order of Appearance
You may call our office on the Wednesday before the competition (after 12:00pm) for the order of appearance if you do not have access to a computer. Orders are posted to the website and will give estimated performance times and event ending time; however, registration additions/changes may cause significant changes to those times. Remember that the order of appearance is subject to change. Cheer Ltd makes every effort to notify the team contact/coach if the order changes significantly enough to possibly alter travel plans.
The Cheer Shoppe
The Cheer Shoppe will have a retail booth for purchasing commemorative competition apparel. Limited sizes are available onsite, but items can be purchased online through the Cheer Shoppe.
Results
Event results will be posted under "Results" of each Cheer Ltd event category no later than noon the Tuesday following the event.
Important Info
Due to the increased expenses associated with traveling, Cheer Ltd has chosen to begin the majority of our competitive events (as the number of performances allows) at 1:00pm. Carpooling the morning of the event as well as ending early enough for safe travels home is our goal. Here is a SAMPLE Regional Championship schedule (some events may start earlier depending on registration):
