If you love cheerleading, then the National Cheer Judges Certification is for you. There are many advantages to earning your certification.
- Enjoy opportunities to earn extra money doing something you love. (You can become eligible to judge local, regional and national competitions, which you can arrange on your own – or possibly receive some assignments through Cheer Ltd’s booking service.)
- Learn to think like a judge and know what judges look for in a routine (an added bonus for your team in competition)
- Enhance your overall knowledge of cheerleading
- Be involved with cheerleading on a whole new level
Cheer Ltd’s National Cheer Judges Certification (NCJC) clinics are offered in two formats - an on-demand course offered via the web OR a live, full day course. Both certification types include approximately 7 hours of training with a practical dvd training where attendees put their knowledge and experience to the test!
Taught by highly qualified instructors with National Elite Judging Certification, NCJC clinics allow you to obtain one of four levels of certification, depending on your existing experience and performance during the clinic:
Intern Certification suggests you should experience more judging alongside nationally trained judges as well as more training in order to be a successful judge
Intermediate Certification suggests you judge at the local level
Standard Certification suggests you judge at local, state, and regional levels
Full Certification means you have the experience and skills to judge at all levels including national and international competitions
Certifications are valid for three years.
You must be 18 years of age to earn your certification.
Certification levels are strictly a suggestion by the instructor based on a set of criteria; they are used by Cheer Ltd when booking judges to place you in the most successful judging situations.
